After the second pair, I learned my lesson
Don't waste your time or money on Audibel hearing aids. Go directly to an Ear, Nose and Throat office that has an audiologist there.
You have to keep going back to have these things adjusted. After a couple of years with the first pair, they said they couldn't be adjusted any more for my hearing loss. So I bought another pair at a cost of $6000.00 with the Surf Link remote and Surf Link TV box. I had these for about 5 years and spent a great deal of time going back and forth to have them adjusted.
They still screeched with certain sounds. I went to three different Audibel offices, but they could never get them right.
The people adjusting your hearing aids are not audiologists. They are just technicians who have had some training.
Bad hearing aids
Having trouble hearing with the hearing aids
- That the staff didnt check into things when told
Preferred solution: new hearing aids
Over priced hearing aids and warranty
When you pay 6000.00 for a set of hearing aids I don't think it is unreasonable to expect them to last for your lifetime. My husbands microphone in the left hearing aid broke and they want us to pay 619.00 to get it fixed because it is out of warranty.
Otherwise he can get another hearing test and get new hearing aids. My husband is 74 years old and we can't afford to pay 600.00 to fix ONE hearing aid nor can we afford to pay another 6000.00 for a new set. I would think the quality of something so expensive would be much better.
This is not the first time he has had an issue. The last time he had to send the back to the manufacturer to get them repaired!!!

Horrible Aids
Great
You are greeted with the American flag colors on the front of their office. The office is behind The Horse and Jockey on 66th St in Pasadena.
Right near Publix. Anyways when you go in Haley is behind the desk. She is a good listener. The office is very clean, a must for me.
I learned a lot while waiting for my appointment. Rhonda came out in just a few minutes and took us into the hearing aid room. Rhonda is very patient. We had a ton of questions.
Rhonda had an answer for every one and also offered much more important information , things we never thought about. We were in there quite awhile, but I never felt rushed. Rhonda showed us how the hearing aid works and how to clean it and change the batteries. She even cleaned my Moms ears.
Rhonda and Haley helped us work out the finances so we could afford them.
We are so happy. Thanks

Horrible experience
$5000 for an old time useless pair for my poor mom
Husband got audibl hearing si
Bluetooth sucks batteries and shuts off
I have in the ear bluetooth enabled hearing aids and there used to be a surflink battery that would mostly keep up with the power demands when I was using the hearing aids via bluetooth to my phone. Now I cannot find any that will work for more than a few seconds before it gives me a warning low battery and shortly there after kicks out.
Isn't there anybody that makes a battery for this hearing aid otherwise they are useless for the enable and added cost of blue tooth ability.
I hate the over the ear kind as they are always falling off and cumbersome. Is anyone else having this issue or is it just my devices?

Hearing aids are expensive but good
I don't know what the issue with everyone is. This site was clearly made by a pissed customer.
Here is my experience with Audibel. I went to Audibel in July 2017. I have had tests throughout my whole life and knew that I had a hearing loss but I was reluctant to get hearing aids because I didn't want everyone to see them. I went in and had a test in the Brandon FL office and was very pleased.
Before I got hearing aids, I couldn't hear my grand kids, my own kids or my husband. I felt isolated at times and finally decided that something needed to be done. There are people complaining of not signing up for Wells Fargo, well let me tell you that if you filled out the information, you signed it so Audibel could run it. If you didn't read what you were signing that is your fault.
That card comes to you after you are approved, whether you used it or not. Its just saying that you are approved and can use the card IF you want to. I got the top of the line hearing aids that were $7000. They are rechargeable so I never have to use batteries!
It is so nice because I dont have to worry about the battery going dead when I am out somewhere. I opted out of using wells fargo time payments but the plans were very reasonable and cheap per month. They had a lot of different options as far as price, but I live a crazy life so I needed the more expensive ones and I have not been disappointed even a month later. With Audibel you get lifetime service which means if your hearing aid breaks you get to go back to the office for free and they will fix it.
That is so nice for someone with grandkids who can possibly get a hold of the aids if they are out of your ear for any amount of time. Sometimes $7000 is not feasible for some people but Audibel really gets that and tries to work with you. I loved the specialist that I worked with! He was very thorough and very sweet.
I will recommend Audibel to all of my friends and family. My husband seems to be getting there, so he may be getting a pair in the next year or two! Give them a shot before you write it off because someone made a website that has every person that doesn't like the company on it, probably including all of their kids and family writing bad reviews as well. There is a risk free 45 day trial so if you don't like it after 45 days you can return it and get your money back.
It really is risk free so why not try? Sincerely, a very happy customer not liking when people only write bad reviews on companies.
